My career started with a conversation in a bookstore. I was working there after high school, finding my way, and had become the resident computer-book expert. One customer was looking for books about running a help desk. He worked in technology leadership at a university law school, and we got talking.

When I told him I wanted to work on a help desk, his response was something like: “You want to work on a help desk? You’re weird. Like me. Here’s my card.”

He gave me an opportunity and became my mentor. He taught me cradle-to-grave ownership: if you take something on, you stay with it and see it through. I still carry that lesson into my work.

At the law school, I grew from the help desk into managing web services, learning as I went and helping faculty, staff, and students use what we built. I went on to run my own technology consultancy and work in digital agency operations, managing client relationships and coordinating teams.

In SaaS, I started in frontline customer success, then built the company’s first customer success enablement and operations functions. That gave me experience on both sides of the work: helping customers directly and developing the tools, training, and processes that help a team support them well.

I’m comfortable working with people who bring very different levels of technical knowledge. I can work through a problem with a developer, explain its business impact to a decision-maker, or help someone get comfortable with a tool they’ve never used before. Finding a way to make things click is one of the parts I enjoy most.

Today, I help businesses put AI to work and build projects of my own. Building and running operations has given me a broader understanding of what it takes to support customers well, and I miss the daily conversations and relationships that come with working directly with them. I’m looking for a customer-facing role at an AI-forward SaaS company, where I can bring that experience into helping people explore new possibilities, work through challenges, and put the technology to use. With so much to learn and build around AI, that’s where I want to be involved.

I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, based in Miami, and open to remote opportunities and consulting work, with travel available.
